Fair at best. First off I want to welcome Simple Ula to the world of followers. Thanks for checking me out and please drop me a line at either email@example.com or at https://twitter.com/Mobilemovieman Now those of you that read me on a consistent basis know that I do not like someone’s view force fed to me. This is just a dishonest documentary with a clear agenda in favor of President Obama and the Iran deal against Israel. The director goes from speaker to speaker to explain “Stuxnet”, he identifies people who are mostly members of the intelligence community. The main speaker throughout is a woman whose identity is shielded who explains that she was employed by the government to help create the virus that targeted the Iranian centrifuges. The documentary is entirely too long but this woman gives the most compelling and dammining testimony but them confesses in the last 60 seconds to be a completely fictional composite represented by an actress. All of the allegations may be 100% accurate, but we’ll never know because the director could not persuade a real witness to come forward. There are better things to watch instead of this fake news. God Awful. First off I want to welcome Reshoot&Rewind to the world of followers. Thanks for checking me out and please drop me a line at either firstname.lastname@example.org or at https://twitter.com/Mobilemovieman Now I did not grow up in the 60’s or the 70’s so it might not seem fair for me to make these statements but the directing and the feel of this movie seem like the director did not live in this era either. The treatment of subjects like protesting, verbal handicap, and pedophile are just not believable at all. The actors were particularly unsuited and miscast for their roles as well. If you have a couple hours that you simply must waste, then this is your opportunity. Me calling this movie god awful is being kind. Avoid this movie at all costs and you’ll thank me later. Everyone please have a safe Fourth of July Weekend and we will recap next week.
Very Good. First off I want to welcome Shanique Wright to the world of followers. Thanks for checking me out and please drop me a line at either email@example.com or at https://twitter.com/Mobilemovieman Now we all know how the Mobile Movie Man hates when Liberal Land force feeds their political message down our throats when we are looking for entertainment, but despite all of that I still liked this movie. I thought the story was very good and the acting was just as good. I know this is only a movie but I really think there are some truths to this movie in regards to how Washington works today and why your representatives vote the way he or she do. The reason why some people hate politics is validated here in this movie. I don’t want to give away too much but Jessica Chastain plays a lobbyist with a win at all costs mentality. She is a general with brilliant strategies but it comes at a high personal cost. The core of this movie is about the games both sides play including any espionage that may happen. Although Hollywood slams the NRA here and tries to sway your opinion this is a solid adult movie without any special effects, action or fighting. Very rare these days. Solid movie and one of the better ones I’ve seen this year. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes thriller, espionage, or courtroom drama type movies. Check it out and let me know what you think. The Mobile Movie Man has spoken!!!
Good. We all know what this movie is about, and far as I’m concerned if this movie went anymore left it would tip over. Look, as far as the movie goes it’s by no means bad or unenjoyable. I think the movie gives a good perspective on Snowden’s life and his decision to hack national secrets. Personally I can’t get behind what he did. The movie props him up like some type of hero, rather than a terrorist or a traitor who deserves to be executed according to the current president. Liberals claim it’s an invasion of privacy but, I say spy on me by all means. I have nothing to hide. You can’t play both sides of the fence and complain about privacy and then complain when there are attacks and you do not feel safe. I saw an interview with a Democrat congresswomen during the election and how she admittedly opposed waterboarding. The journalist flipped the question and said what if you daughter was kidnapped by a terrorist that would not talk. Would you approve of it then to give up the location of your daughter?? After a few seconds she replied “Just don’t tell me you are doing it!” So the liberals live in some sort of fantasy land until they are directly affected, then it’s different. This is part of the reason I can’t stand them. Movie is good, just check it out and make of it what you want. The Mobile Movie Man thinks putting the locations of people who are out there day in and day out trying to keep us safe is un-American, and Snowden did that. You be the judge. Ok. The reason I watched this is I had seen the others so I was pot committed. I liked the original the most because it was a fresh new idea. The second was just a chance to cash in on the success of the original, and I get that. The third one was just ok in my opinion. The director here is surly a top of the line liberal as he takes shots at the rich, whites, the catholic church, the NRA, and probably some more that I can’t think of off the top of my head. This movie in particular takes the problem of elitism vs the rest of the world and distorts into a black vs white, wealthy vs poor, right vs left. It annoys me because the premise is good but I the force feeding of liberals in liberal lands political message might be a little bit too much for some of you out there, but if you have the other two then you will no doubt see this one as well. The movie is not great but it’s not god awful either like Keanu, so buyer beware. The Mobile Movie Man has spoken!!
Good. Going in I was saying to myself “again with slavery???”, but this movie was very interesting to me. One of the major takeaways I had was the fact that the Democrats have been lying and cheating to get in power since inception. It was the republicans who fought for black people and gave them the right to vote, as well as women’s rights to vote. It’s amazing how people forget about their own history and the Democrats take the credit now. I thought the acting was great, and the detail to that period of time was spot on. The only negative for me was the fact that it was a little long. A couple spoilers are coming……The battle scenes although short are very good, but with that long of a movie I felt they should have focused on the battles and not jump to the 1970’s court case against the main character’s great great grandson. To me that is another story in itself. Thankfully those flash forwards are short and spread out of the entire movie. Overall it’s a good movie, and if you are a fan of the civil war then it’s a must see. It’s definitely the best thing I’ve seen in a while.
Ok. This one comes to us from D-Rock who resides in the borough and I have to go back and check the logs but this is one of the very few recommendations he has made without Liam Neeson in it. Now if you read me daily you know how I feel about these types of movies. This one is a typical by the book Hollywood bio flick. Quite similar to 42, the Jackie Robinson story as it recounts the discrimination and hostility experienced by minorities in the early 20th century. This is a true story about an awful injustice during a time period where things were unfair, but enough is enough already. Can we please move on and make some other happy and uplifting stories? As far as the movie is concerned, the cast turns in a solid performance outside of Jason Sudeikis who I thought was a complete miscast. Any positive buzz this movie gets is a kind of guilt trip for savaging an entire race of people. Handing out awards and accolades will never repair the damage done to the African American population, but I think it’s really time to move on already. Movie is ok and I can see people liking and/or enjoying this but this is just not for me. Thanks for the recommendation D-Rock and please keep them coming as I do appreciate it.
